Phil Simmonds
Phil Simmonds is a British songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist based in Los Angeles. Signed to Ross Golan’s Unknown Music Publishing and Kobalt, he has collaborated on releases with a wide range of artists including Eryn Allen Kane, Sam Tompkins, Olivia O’Brien, Delilah Montagu, JP Cooper, Anson Seabra, Diplo, Kareen Lomax, Zara Larsson, Alemeda, Adrian Lyles, New Hope Club, Rizzle Kicks, DJ Premier, Forest Claudette, Charls, Anna Graves, and Kenzie. He is known for producing full projects such as Eryn Allen Kane’s A Tree Planted by Water, Delilah Montagu’s The Bird, Lily Papas’ Encore, his own Navah Sea releases, and the forthcoming Charls album.
Previously, Phil worked as a touring musician and musical director with artists including Jessie J, Leona Lewis, Rae Morris, Conrad Sewell, Lawson, Angel Haze, and Willow Smith. He is also the founder of the world-renowned residency W3 at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, which launched in 2010.
As a visual artist, Phil’s work has been shown internationally, with exhibitions such as Navah Sea at TPF Studios in Shoreditch, London (2022), and group showings in Los Angeles at the former Harbour Studios. His paintings are held in music studios and private collections around the world, and he is currently preparing his next solo show in Los Angeles.
